ARTIFICIALIA – Stephan Balleux
The blan Foundation has given carte blanche to the artist Stephan Balleux to take over the entire Foundation, from the basement alcoves to the top floors of the mansion, in the image of a cabinet of curiosities, to which the title of the exhibition ARTIFICIALIA refers. The hanging garden, located between the Hotel and the Cube that overlooks it, will host a very large work of the artist, visible from General Jacques Boulevard. Stephan Balleux’s multidisciplinary artworks question how globally human beings are perceiving their environment.

Fondation Thalie*
Eva Jospin, Panorama
The Fondation Thalie presents French artist Eva Jospin’s work in Brussels (from 15 April-15 July, 2023) for the first time. The exhibition “Panorama” brings together emblematic forests that made Eva Jospin so celebrated in sculpted cardboard alongside a rock garden theater over three meters long and newly produced silk embroideries which bear witness to the artist’s talent as a colourist. While this era struggles with unprecedented crisis in the living world, “Panorama” unveils works full of stories which inspire us to feel re-enchanted with our relationship to the world and invites viewers to take the time for mindful contemplation.
