Harlan Levey Projects

Harlan Levey Projects (HLP) actively focuses on disseminating contemporary art outside of its niche, building relationships with other areas of research, industry and cultural conversation. Artists represented by the gallery tend to explore social phenomena, producing mixed-media works that unfold emerging historical narratives.
In September 2020, HLP will open 1080, it’s new space in Brussels.

Ella Littwitz presents new sculptures in a project dealing with political agreements, religious mythologies and tensions in an exploration of national versus natural boundaries. Works in the booth are developed using the soil, water and artifacts involved in territorial demarcation, religious ritual and the protection of political agency
