Annie Gentils Gallery

The Annie Gentils Gallery presents a curated booth with different generations of artists working with different media: Rik Moens, Marc De Blieck, Marc Vanderleenen, Wesley Meuris and Thomas Swinkels.
The different generations of these artists reflect in different ways on society and our changing world, whether it concerns painting (Moens, Vanderleenen), photography (Marc De Blieck), is strongly architectural, or even scientifically orientated drawings and constructions (Wesley Meuris). The seeming metaphors in Thomas Swinkels’s neo-minimal row of broken-into safes, found by dredging Amsterdam’s waterways with a magnet, brings a new perspective on conceptual art.
