Dauwens & Beernaert

Stand: d25

Wovon man nicht sprechen kann is an encounter between paintings by Loïc Van Zeebroek and the sculptures of Maxim Frank. The exhibition title is derived from the most quoted phrase of Ludwig Wittgenstein’s Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus: 'Whereof one cannot speak, thereof one must be silent.' Throughout their practice, Maxim Frank and Loïc Van Zeebroek have directed their distinct poetic and imaginative sensibility toward observations of, and engagements with, the essence of painting and sculpture.
