    The Politics of Things is a series of talks, conversations and readings that will accompany the exhibition Mementos: Artists’ Souvenirs, Artefacts, and other Curiosities organized by Jens Hoffmann and Piper Marshall.
  • New Technologies in Contemporary Art
    Media art, tech art, web art, digital art, time based media art… What, Why and where to?
  • Venice Biennale
    Two conferences will take place in the lounge of fair partner Stibbe and will further develop ideas around both the Belgian Pavilion and the 57th Venice Biennale with Katerina Gregos, Dirk Braeckman & Eva Wittocx.
  • Artists’ Estates
    How to play a role as an estate in order to reassess the artist’s oeuvre after his death, at the level of its scientific value, in the market and in the museum context? The speakers will share their experience with artist’s legacies also addressing questions such as: How can an artist already plan his future estate? How to deal with the catalogue raisonné? How to collaborate with the different actors in the art market?
  • Collecting, Intimacy and the Domestic
    This panel emphasises the potential of collecting as a site of intimate encounter between artists, collectors and audiences. Curator Rose Lejeune talks to Delfina Foundation Director Aaron Cezar and collectors Pedro Barbosa (Sao Paulo, Brazil), Alain Servais (Brussels, Belgium) and Dorith Galuz (Paris, France) about the ways in which collecting can be a mode of exchange and interaction between artist and collector. Moderated by Rose Lejeune, Associate curator Delfina Foundation (London – UK) .
  • Belfius Talks
    Belfius Wealth Management will contribute to the Art Brussels Talks programme by hosting several conferences in the Belfius Lounge, inviting in-house specialists and independent speakers to address topics about the constitution, the management and the transmission of an art collection.
